This is a fun, versatile pattern that is perfect alone as a warm-weather dress, or layered with tights and a jacket or long sleeved top as an all-weather outfit. It looks amazing paired with colored tights and tall boots!

Inspired by the Simplicity #1080 Dottie Angel dress (my all-time favorite dress to sew for myself), this is a great addition to any 18" doll wardrobe! It's a vintage-inspired, apron-style house dress with a fun pleated pocket detail and an overlap in the back in place of a velcro or zipper closure. There are pattern instructions for two versions: one with bias-bound neckline and armscyes, and an "easy" version with facings.

Sewn with vintage reproduction fabrics, this is a classic piece great for any historical doll wardrobe, or choose more modern fabrics for a fresh take on a classic look! This pattern was designed to be used with light- to midweight woven cottons, although other fabrics may work too.

This dress has been designed to fit 18" cloth and vinyl dolls like American Girl, Our Generation, Madame Alexander, Gotz, and My Life As dolls. It will fit very large on slim-bodied dolls like Journey Girls.

Full photo instructions and simplified, printer-friendly instructions included. I do not offer returns on sewing patterns, but I do offer full support and assistance whenever needed.
